Simply Droog: Irony

‘Irony’ is one of the themes presented by Droog in the last years, which is now part of the travelling overview exhibition Simply Droog 10+1 years of avant-garde design from the Netherlands. For this exhibition ten themes have been chosen in total.

Studio Jurgen Bey designed fictional living rooms for every one of them. It depends on the location which ones will be shown. The Gemeentemuseum in The Hague, where Simply Droog 10+1 was to be seen till mid February, chose six of them. One room that was not shown there, is showing in Droog’s own exhibition room in Amsterdam from February 22 to April 10: Irony. The exhibition Simply Droog is going to travel to Switzerland and will not be shown in The Netherlands anymore.
